Akshaya Patra in Nayagarh

There are 2 types of Kitchens.
There is the Centralised Kitchen where all the food is made in 1 place, and then distributed to the schools using Akshaya Patra Mobile Vans.
There is the De-centralised Kitchen, where the Local Women are employed in their Village. Depending on how many children arrive, they then make the food in the School Kitchen. The Video shows a local school which is in a very small village, Nayagarh nr Orissa, where it is a small place which is not connected to any busy roads. It is very rural. The local women are employed to Cook for the Local children.
From a central depot raw materials are transported to the locals schools. In turn, the food is actually made at the school.
The Teacher describes how there has been an increase in the number of children coming to school. The Headmaster at the end of the film is so impressed with Akshaya Patra that he wants the programme to be extended to further schools local to them.
